About ICAI Bengaluru

The Bengaluru Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was established on 1st April 1962 vide Notification No. 1-CA (24/61 dated 19th March 1962. The Branch has steadily grown in stature and influence and is the largest branch of ICAL From an initial membership of 110, it has expanded to a vibrant community of over 23,000 members and more than 45,000 Chartered Accountancy students. The Branch functions under the aegis of the Southern India Regional Council, Chennai

The Bengaluru Branch has continually raised the bar of professional engagement and learning Through conferences, seminars, workshops, teleconferences, and study circle meetings, it creates platforms that encourage reflection, dialogue, and advancement across contemporary and emerging areas of practice. Its sustained emphasis on knowledge, ethics, and professional responsibility has earned the Branch repeated recognition as the Best Branch in the country Rooted in its legacy yet firmly oriented towards the future, the Bengaluru Branch continues to shape minds, strengthen the profession, and move it purposefully forward.
